Services at Beaver Sports Medicine
Orthopedic Injury Appointments
No more waiting hours at the Emergency Room or days for an appointment with your primary physician. We know it's critical for sports related injuries to be evaluated quickly. When calling, please let our office staff know when the injury took place so we can see you as soon as possible.
BSM Surgery Center
Patients who have their procedures performed at BSM Surgery Center will enjoy the convenience of a modern, centrally located facility with accessible parking and streamlined registration. Our professional and knowledgeable healthcare professionals at BSM will treat you with the greatest care and respect. The BSM Surgery Center is JCAHO Accredited and provides an inviting and comfortable environment designed for efficiency, safety and privacy.
In-Office Digital X-Ray and MRI
Conveniently located in-office, our MRI is an open extremity magnet capable of performing many upper and lower extremity exams. This allows maximum comfort during the procedure for patients who are claustrophobic. We are often able to do same-day MRI exams following a scheduled appointment with one of our providers. All x-rays and MRIs are stored on our Pacs system with easy access to previous exams for comparison, if needed. We are also capable of transferring exams to a CD for patient or provider viewing with a signed release.
Athletic Event Medical Coverage
Athletic trainers are seen on the sidelines of athletic events of all varieties from ultimate frisbee, dance competitions to tackle football. During these events our role is to facilitate the health and safety of participating athletes. Our team of certified athletic trainers is available to provide this coverage to your event at an hourly rate. Contact our Athletic Training team at 541-757-8100 for rates and booking details.
Athletic Training with Certified Athletic Trainers
At Beaver Sports Medicine we utilize certified athletic trainers (ATC) that are highly skilled and efficient in performing musculoskeletal exams, surgical education and rehabilitation. ATCs understand the athletic mindset which is crucial for communicating with athletes, coaches, parents and agents. Certified athletic trainers (ATC) take on several different roles at Beaver Sports Medicine. Without your traditional athletic department, athletic training room, or physical therapy clinic duties, our ATCs daily responsibilities are a combination of physician extender and secondary sports medicine coverage at local high schools, clubs, and community colleges.
The combination of physician extender clinical duties mixed with secondary school sports medicine coverage is what makes our positions unique. We work alongside the surgical staff at BSM Surgery Center to provide continuity of care to all of our athletes and patients.
Bracing, Splints, Crutches, etc.
We have braces, splints, crutches, cold therapy units, walking boots, ankle braces, neoprene sleeves, hinged knee braces, patellar stabilizing braces, and casting material available here in the clinic. We can fit for custom ACL or OA braces here in the office and typically have them within a week or less. Many bracing products including splints and crutches are covered by insurance.
